Who knew?
When we brought Chula into our home in July 1995, we didn’t
intend to get involved in dog sports. She was just
a wonderful companion that wanted to share in every daily
activity, whether it was swimming in our pool or helping with
home improvement projects.
But Chula possessed the kind of high energy that needed an outlet every day. And fate had brought together a her love of discs and a retired disc player. The outcome was inevitable:
Chula has changed our family forever. Her talent and drive led us into the world of dog sports and competition. The ensuing journey forged a powerful bond between us. We now know how rich the relationship can be between human and canine. Unfortunately, time passes much faster for our canine friends and time has taken its toll on Chula. In March 2006, we were given a diagnosis of terminal cancer for Chula. She bravely battled the disease and outlived her prognosis. We cherished every day with her after that sad diagnosis in March. On October 7, 2006, Chula lost her long and bravely fought battle with cancer. Nothing will ever quite fill the void she has left in our lives. We created her Web page to tell her story after her passing. At least for us, we hope the pictures and videos will keep our bright memories of her from dimming with time. The buttons on the left will take you to pictures and videos about Chula's life and performing career. |
